Dee, please take into consideration that people grow. People change. People learn new things. People refine their recipes. So what I will be doing, is using her most recent recipe for a glass cleaner, because if a different older recipe was so good, she would not have changed it. It’s safe to assume she’s not gonna switch to a worse recipe, so unless a special reason is stated, the most recent one is the best and the one you should use.

Window and glass cleaners are created with mostly water. You require the very best car window cleaners so you can clear dirt from your windshield.

I cant wait to try using coffee filters instead of paper towels for the lint free finish, Thanks for the tip!

Hi Dee – There are a few different ways to make an effective glass cleaner, each with its own merits. Generally, water in vinegar are essentials, but sometimes other ingredients have added benefits. In the case of corn starch, this results in a more heavy duty outdoor glass cleaner.

Here, her glass cleaner is water, vinegar, and cornstarch. In another post it is 1-1/2 C water, 1/4 C vinegar, 1/4 C rubbing alcohol.

Hi, I’ve been making my own glass cleaner for a while. The cornstarch keeps it from streaking. Though I use alcohol, it helps the evaoiration and the scent doesn’t linger.

I would say for most though, a cheap squeegee and a tiny amount of washing up liquid to water will clean your windows better than anything else.
